"Bhool Bhulaiyaa" is a Bollywood psychological thriller film released in 2007. The movie is a remake of the Malayalam film "Manichitrathazhu" and was directed by Priyadarshan. It features Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, and Amisha Patel in lead roles.

The story revolves around a young couple, Siddharth (Shiney Ahuja) and Avni (Vidya Balan), who move into a haunted ancestral mansion in Rajasthan. The mansion is known for its dark past and mysterious happenings. Siddharth's friend, Aditya (Akshay Kumar), who is a psychiatrist, joins them on their journey.

Avni starts experiencing strange and eerie incidents, which leads Siddharth to call Aditya for help. Aditya realizes that Avni's condition resembles Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and suspects that she might be possessed by the spirit of a Rajasthani queen, Manjulika, who died under tragic circumstances.

As Aditya delves deeper into the history of the mansion, he uncovers a tragic love story involving the queen and a musician named Shashidhar (Akshay Kumar in a dual role). The queen's unfulfilled love and subsequent betrayal lead to her vengeful spirit haunting the mansion.

Aditya must find a way to solve the mystery and save Avni from the clutches of the malevolent spirit. With the help of his wit and psychological expertise, he unravels the secrets of the mansion and confronts the spirit to bring peace to everyone involved.

The movie combines elements of comedy, horror, and suspense to create an engaging and thrilling narrative. It explores themes of love, betrayal, and the supernatural, keeping the audience guessing until the final revelation.
